Paint & Coatings

ICR offers products at every stage of manufacturing. We offer some of the most basic materials forming the backbone of base polymers, as well as many of the smallest concentration modifiers that help tailor their performance. We also offer some finished coatings that can be used in many barrier coating applications.

Polymers & Emulsifiers
These are monomers and basic building blocks for polymers used in the Paints & Coatings industries.

  • 1,6 Hexanediol (HDL)
  • Polycarbonatediols (PCD) - a wide variety and combination of copolymers and molecular weights.
  • Specialty grade Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) Copolymers as water-based polymer emulsifiers and suspending agents; including crosslinkable emulsifiers
  • Specialty grades of Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) and Polypropylene Glycol (PPG).
  • Glycerol Carbonate and d-Valerolactone; flow modifiers and precursor materials in the manufacture of flow modifiers and surfactants.
  • 4-Hydroxybutylacrylate (4-HBA) to build acrylic tackifiers for PSA's.
  • Paint & Coating Manufacturing
  • Polycarbonatediols (PCD) for high performance, high durability coatings.
  • Acrylic and acrylate monomers.
  • Polyvinylidine Chloride (PVDC) solvent-soluble resins for protective coatings, and pigment binders for conductive inks and coatings.
  • Cyclo-aliphatic epoxy monomers for UV coating and imparts the specific dielectric properties needed for electronic encapsulation.
  • 4-Hydroxybutylacrylate (4-HBA) for UV adhesives and coatings.
  • 1,4 Cyclohexanedimethol Monoacrylate for UV adhesives and coatings; exhibiting exceptionally fast cure, high flexibility and a Primary Irritation Index of 0.7 (water = 0).
  • Specialty grade Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) copolymers to modify flow and penetration properties, and impart specific film-forming characteristics.
  • MEK-O as an anti-skinning agent, and silicone coating coreactant.

Finished Adhesives and Coating Products

  • Single component, water-based, Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVOH) bas barrier coatings for aroma, CO2, O2, MAP gas flush materials for flexible packaging laminations.
  • Polyvinylidine Chloride (PVDC) water-based latex and solvent-soluble resins for high gas and humidity barrier coatings; for aroma, CO2, O2, MAP gas flush materials.
  • Polyvinylidine chloride (PVDC) water-based latex and solvent-soluble resins for high abrasion resistance and anti-corrosion coatings.
