ICR clients can source multiple requirements from our complementary pool of solvents which includes aromatics, ketones, glycols, alcohols, and esters. These solvents are used in a diverse range of applications and industries including plastics manufacturing, paints and coatings production, and the creation of adhesives and bonding agents for plywood.
- Acetone - An intermediate chemical used as an industrial solvent, a clear liquid chemical produced as a co-product in the manufacture of phenol during the cumene oxidation process.
- Alpha-methylstyrene (AMS) - An intermediate chemical used in the manufacture of plasticizers, resins and polymerization production processes.
- Benzene Sulfonic Acid (DDBSA/LABSA) - Widely applied in washing powder, civil detergent cleanser and industrial detergents. Name: Dedecyl Alky Benzene Sulfonic Acid (LABSA, DBSA, DDBSA)
- Diacetone Alcohol - It is miscible in water and used as a solvent for water-based coatings. It is used as a solvent extractant in purification processes for resins and waxes. Diacetone alcohol is more suitable for use in applications as a component of gravure printing inks, with proving favorable flow and leveling characteristics.
- Dipropylene Glycol - For (Low Odor) Cosmetics, it is used as coupling agent and humectant. It is a solvent for fragrance components and is also used in skin cleansing preparations, deodorants, lipsticks and perfumes, and liquid laundry detergents.
- Ethyl Acetate - Used in the manufacture of adhesives, cleaning fluids, inks, nail-polish removers and silk, coated papers, explosives, artificial leather, photographic films and plates.
- Isopropyl Alcohol - A common name for a colorless, flammable chemical compound with a strong odor.
- Methanol (MeOH) - Also known as methyl alcohol, wood alcohol, wood naphtha or wood spirits. Methanol is also used as a solvent, and as an antifreeze in pipelines and windshield washer fluid.
