- Ascorbic Acid - Commonly known and used as Vitamin C in the pharmaceutical industry, it's also used as a food and feed additive for its nutritional and antioxidant properties.
- Benzyl Alcohol - Is an organic compound, a colorless liquid with a mild pleasant aromatic odor. It is often added to intravenous medication solutions as a preservative due to its bacteriostatic and antipruritic properties. Also used in flavor, soap and perfume industries. As a solvent is used for inks, paints, lacquers, and epoxy resin coatings.
- Citric Acid - Weak organic acid, in the form of white crystalline powder, naturally occurring fruit acid, and produced commercially by microbial fermentation of a carbohydrate substrate. Used as acidulent flavoring and preservative in beverages and in other food applications. Also used in detergent and for other non-food related applications like cosmetics, pharma and in the chemical industry.
- Co Q 10 - used as dietary supplement and antioxidant.
- Decursinol-50 - plant extract used in treatment and relief of pain.
- Glycine USP - An amino acetic acid, sold in three grades: USP, Pharma and Technical Grade. USP Grade used as an additive in pet food and animal feed. For humans, glycine is used as a sweetener/taste enhancer as a food supplement and is found in protein drinks. It is also used in drug formulations to improve gastric absorption of the drug, among other applications.
- Sodium Saccharin - An artificial sweetener in the form of a sodium or calcium salt to be water soluble. Most widely used sweetener despite carcinogen concern. Has a main property of blending well with other sweeteners. Saccharin is used as a food additive and to sweeten products such as drinks, candies, medicines, and toothpaste.
- Taurine - Is a non-essential amino acid, used in energy drinks and used as an essential dietary in cat food. It is also used in pharmaceuticals and in cosmetics due to its anti-fibrotic properties.
- Triclosan - Is a chlorinated aromatic compound with phenols and ethers functional groups. Its properties are derived from its wide spectrum effect as an antibacterial and antifungal agent. FDA regulated and used in soaps, deodorants, toothpastes, shaving creams, mouthwashes, cleaning supplies, and several consumer products.
- Sorbitol - It's a sugar alcohol, produced by the reduction of glucose. A sugar substitute, and recognized as a nutritive sweetener. Mostly in 70% solution, it's colorless, odorless, and USP/ FCC. It's a superior humectant in a wide range of products including confectionary, cosmetics, tobacco, and adhesives; used as flavor in beverages and diet food, and used in dentifrices, mouthwash and in pharmaceuticals and laxative products. Also used as a plasticizer, and stabilizer in manufacture of polyurethanes.
- Phosphates - Inorganic compounds based on the element of phosphorus. Nearly all phosphates are extracted from rock, combined with elements like sodium, potassium, calcium, and others. They are used in the food industry to improve food products, in processing as an emulsifier, as a nutrient additive, and leavening agent. Also used in agriculture and as an animal feed supplement. It is used in cosmetics, detergents, and other industrial applications.
- Aspartame - An artificial non-saccharine sweetener, a peptide. Marketed under various names: "Equal", "NutraSweet", and "Canderel". Used as a sugar substitute in food, beverages, breath mints, cereals, sugar-free chewing gum, cocoa mixes, frozen desserts, gelatin desserts, juices, laxatives, chewable vitamin supplements, milk drinks, pharmaceutical drugs and supplements, shake mixes, tabletop sweeteners, teas, instant coffees, topping mixes, wine coolers and yogurt.
- Vanillin - Organic compound, extracted from the vanilla bean, also found in roasted coffee. Synthetic vanilla is produced from clove oil, guaiacol, and glyoxalin acid.
